Discipleship groups are relationships with others which help us grow in our relationship with Christ. In these groups, we are seeking a balance of Bible study, fellowship, and prayer. At First Presbyterian Church, we are placing a new emphasis on these types of groups, in recognition of the importance of such relationships for our spiritual growth. GROUPS MEETING ON SUNDAYS AT 11:00AM (following our worship service and refreshments)

Men’s Encouragement and Growth (adults)
Meets Sundays at 11am
Topic: 2 Peter 1:3-11
Facilitator: Sean Daley

Women’s Prayer Group (adults)
Meets Sundays at 11am with Bible, sharing, and plenty of prayer.
Topic: Fruit of the Spirit.
Facilitator: Kathleen Eikenberry

Life Together (adults)
Meets Sundays at 11am. Each meeting begins with mixed gender study and fellowship, then breaks into groups of men and women for further sharing and prayer.
Study topics are chosen by the group.
Participants are welcome to bring their small children

Christian Basics Class (jr. high through adult)
Meets Sundays at 11am
Topic: Basic Christian Beliefs
Facilitator: Allan Smith

Upper-Elementary Bible Class (grades 3-5)
Meets every other Sunday at 11am
Topic: In the Beginning...Jesus (curriculum from Desiring God Ministries)
Facilitator: Cindy Jensen

Children's Fellowship (preschool through 2nd grade)
Meets Sundays at 11am
Children meet for Bible study, prayer, and play

Traveling Small Group
Meets each week with a different home-bound person for Bible study, fellowship, and prayer.

Monday Afternoon Women's Group
Meets Mondays, 1:00-3:15 pm.
Facilitator: Faith Clark

Wednesday Morning Women's Study
Meets Wednesdays at the church, 9:30am–noon, Working through DVD curriculum and discussion.
Facilitator: Gay Penttinen

Wednesday Night Bible Study
Meets Wednesdays at the church, 7:00-8:15pm.
Topic is the same as the Sunday sermon
